Jonathan "JT" Thomas

Hi, I'm Jonathan “JT" Thomas, and baseball has been a huge part of my life for over 12 years. I played catcher for my entire career, including two and a half years on the varsity team during high school. During that time, I had the privilege of working with three different catching coaches who helped shape my approach to the game and taught me the finer points of playing behind the plate.

As a catcher, I know firsthand the tools, techniques, and mindset it takes to succeed in this demanding position. Through my own experiences as a player and the countless lessons I've taken, I've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to not only be a great catcher but also a strong leader on the field. Now, as a coach, I'm excited to share that knowledge with young athletes who are eager to learn and grow.

My goal as a coach is to help players improve their technical skills, build confidence, and understand the important role catchers play in managing the game. Whether it's pitch framing, blocking, or throwing runners out, I focus on the small details that make a big difference. Most importantly, I'm passionate about helping players reach their full potential and develop a love for the game, just like I did.
